Majesco Billing/DevStudio Developer

We are looking for an experienced Majesco Billing / DevStudio Developer with strong expertise in Oracle database development, PL/SQL, database design, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have experience working with Majesco Billing or DevStudio applications and be capable of designing and developing complex database solutions supporting transactional, reporting, and batch-processing requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects supporting Majesco Billing / DevStudio applications.
- Develop and optimize Tables, Views, Indexes, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Materialized Views using PL/SQL.
- Develop dynamic SQL and database solutions for complex business and application requirements.
- Design and develop high-performing database batch processes.
- Analyze complex database transactions and develop scalable solutions for transactional and reporting applications.
- Design database structures and data models to support application and reporting requirements.
- Perform SQL performance tuning and optimize queries, procedures, packages, and database processes.
- Monitor slow-performing SQL and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Troubleshoot database-related application issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with application developers, business analysts, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver database solutions.
- Support testing, deployment, production releases, and post-production issue resolution.
- Review existing database processes and identify opportunities for performance, scalability, and maintainability improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation for database designs, procedures, batch processes, and performance-tuning activities.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 3 - 8 years of experience in Oracle database development, with experience in Majesco Billing and/or Majesco DevStudio.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience developing Tables, Views, Indexes, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Materialized Views.
- Strong experience with dynamic SQL and complex database transactions.
- Experience designing and developing database solutions for transactional and reporting applications.
- Hands-on experience with database batch processing and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, indexing, query optimization, and SQL performance tuning.
- Experience analyzing and resolving slow-performing SQL and database bottlenecks.
- Good troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience working in enterprise application development and SDLC environments.
- Good understanding of testing, deployment, release, and production support processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in the insurance domain and Majesco platform is preferred.
