Job Title:Stockroom Attendant
Start Pay: $ 19/hr
Shift: 1st
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Stockroom/MRO Supervisor, the Stockroom Assistant will support Stockroom and Production control functions as well as provide customer support to Linamar employees and suppliers.
Responsibility:
- Receive deliveries and put stockroom items away in the proper location.
- Verify packing slip for the amount shipped.
- Conduct cycle counting, stockroom transactions utilizing the Plex system, and check e-mail daily.
- Maintain shipping dock cleanliness.
- Drive mobile equipment to stage items and put them away.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Maintain area cleanliness.
Academic/Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of stockroom experience.
- Ability to complete required paperwork.
- Possess problem solving abilities.
- Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to understand the use of manufacturing inventory items.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to obtain mobile equipment certification.
- Possess strong organizational skills.
- Ability to utilize a computer in a Windows environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
