Technical Partner Solution Specialist(EPI)

As a Technical Partner Solution Specialist in LINE Pay, you will focus on external partner interface integration, compliance management, and rapid technical issue resolution.

You act as the critical technical bridge between major external partners, financial institutions, and internal engineering teams-taking full ownership of partner integration, compliance awareness, and rapid technical troubleshooting.

Within the team, you must be able to quickly respond to urgent VOC/compliance requirements, technical log investigations, and deliver the precise and formal responses to internal CS, RM, and external key partners.

For the company, you are the key technical representative for external partner communications.

You are the expert who provides swift technical solutions and responds quickly under non-deferrable timelines. More importantly, you must have the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Partner Technical Integration & Operations: Drive technical discussions and integrations with external partner systems to ensure the technical feasibility with seamless go-live and operational stability.
• Compliance & Partner Certificate Management: Handle EPI compliance requirements and certificate operations from key partners, ensuring all regulatory standards and integration criteria are strictly met without delay.
• Rapid Log Investigation & Root-Cause Analysis: Conduct rapid system log tracing and technical debugging to define impact scope, deliver root-cause analysis, and execute fixes for complex operational issues.
• Cross-Functional Formal Communication: Provide timely, accurate, and formal technical responses to internal CS teams, RM teams, and external key partners for urgent VOC and partner inquiries.
• External Stakeholder Management: Interface directly with key external channels and financial institutions, acting as the primary technical contact to resolve sandbox and production integration challenges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical partner integration, API troubleshooting, or payment gateway systems.
• Proficient with project management tools such as Slack, Jira, and Confluence, and capable of applying them effectively in practical projects.
• Strong capability in system log analysis, API debugging, and tracing distributed system architectures under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to align with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
• Prior experience in Payment Gateway, Acquiring Business, or EPI FinTech domains is highly preferred.
• Technical or programming background (Java/Python, SQL) for log analysis and debugging is a plus.

This position requires solid knowledge of internet technologies

• RESTful API design, API integration security protocols, SSL certification and handshake measure, log management tools, and service flow design.
