Security & CIAM Specialist

Project: Next-generation greenfield digital bank in the UAE, building a scalable, cloud-native banking platform based on API-first, event-driven, and AI-native principles.

We are looking for a Senior CIAM Architect / IAM Lead to design and implement Customer Identity and Access Management solutions for digital banking platforms. The role involves defining identity strategies, architecting secure authentication and authorization services, and collaborating with Cloud, DevOps, and API teams to deliver highly available and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design CIAM architecture and customer identity strategies.
• Implement SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML solutions.
• Integrate CIAM platforms with API gateways, IAM systems, SIEM, and cloud services.
• Ensure security, regulatory compliance, scalability, and reliability of identity services.
• Define KPIs and SLAs and provide guidance to architects and product owners.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
• Strong experience with CIAM platforms such as Auth0, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Azure AD B2C/Entra External ID, or similar.
• Hands-on knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, MFA, and identity federation.
• Experience with API security, API gateways, and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and SIEM integrations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
