About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager / Program Manager to join our Pharma Commercial Business Unit.

This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who excels in complex client environments, can successfully navigate challenging project situations, and is able to build trust with both client stakeholders and delivery teams.

You will be responsible for leading strategic technology and business transformation initiatives for global pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations, with a particular focus on governance, documentation, stakeholder alignment, compliance-related deliverables, and execution readiness. The role requires driving accountability across multiple teams and ensuring that required artefacts, reviews, approvals, and deliverables are completed on time and to the expected quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership

• Lead complex projects and programs throughout the entire lifecycle, from initiation to successful delivery.
• Define and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, document deliverables risks, dependencies, and success criteria.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with quality expectations.
• Drive accountability and execution across multidisciplinary teams.
• Own the planning, tracking, and quality of project documentation, governance artefacts, decision logs, action registers, and executive reporting materials.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for client stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead difficult discussions professionally while maintaining trust and partnership.

Delivery Coordination & Governance

• Act as the bridge between client stakeholders, business teams, subject matter experts and technical delivery teams.
• Coordinate the creation, review, approval, and maintenance of project documentation and governance artefacts.
• Ensure business objectives, compliance requirements, and governance obligations are effectively translated into delivery plans and execution priorities.
• Facilitate decision-making, alignment, and problem resolution across teams.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance and stakeholder accountability mechanisms.
• Ensure all required deliverables progress through appropriate review and approval processes.

Risk & Issue Management

• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Proactively identify documentation, governance, approval, and stakeholder risks that may impact delivery timelines.
• Drive mitigation plans and resolution strategies.
• Escalate issues appropriately when necessary while maintaining a solution-oriented mindset.
• Remain calm and effective under pressure, especially during critical project phases.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead steering committees, project reviews, workshops, and status meetings.
• Drive ownership, accountability, and timely decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Communicate effectively with executive sponsors, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Tailor communication style to different audiences.
• Ensure transparency, clarity, and alignment across all stakeholders.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience managing complex IT projects or programs.
• Proven experience working directly with external clients and executive stakeholders.
• Strong track record of successfully managing projects in demanding, fast-paced environments.
• Experience coordinating distributed, cross-functional delivery teams.
• Excellent risk, issue, and dependency management skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent English (C1/C2 level) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and digital product delivery.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery approaches.
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications.
• Knowledge of GxP, CSA, validation processes, or regulated software development environments - will be an additional asset.
