IT & OT Transformation Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Senior IT & Operational Transformation Leader to step into a complex, multi-entity group environment, audit the existing technology landscape, and architect the future IT/OT roadmap.

This is not a high-level consulting engagement that ends with a PowerPoint deck. You will take full ownership: diving deep into current systems, untangling legacy debt, bridging the gap between business operations and tech vendors, and leading the long-term digital evolution of the group-with a heavy focus on Comarch ERP, WMS, and manufacturing (OT) integrations.

Core Responsibilities

• Map and evaluate the entire group IT landscape (infrastructure, application stack, server environments, and Microsoft licensing).
• Assess core operational services, cybersecurity posture, key single points of failure, and structural risks.
• Audit team competencies and ownership structures to eliminate organizational gaps.
• Deeply analyze the current Comarch ERP implementation across all group entities and manufacturing units.
• Evaluate ERP-to-WMS integrations, process dependencies, and system bottlenecks.
• Build a clear business case and executive recommendation: Optimize & scale current Comarch ERP vs. Migrate to a new enterprise ERP.
• Map the operational technology (OT) environment and its touchpoints with core IT systems and ERP.
• Identify operational risks and workflow bottlenecks on the shop floor.
• Align IT infrastructure with production requirements without getting bogged down in low-level automation engineering.
• Translate business process maps into robust technical architecture (Business Processes → IT Architecture → Systems → Automation).
• Highlight architectural gaps, eliminate redundancies, and introduce workflow automation and applied AI solutions.
• Audit and rationalize external IT vendors, service level agreements (SLAs), and contract scopes.
• Challenge vendor recommendations, negotiate delivery scopes, and drive vendor accountability (or manage vendor replacements).
• Act as the master translator between executive business requirements and technical specifications for supplier.

Key Requirements & Scope

• Strong background in leading complex IT turnarounds, system consolidations, and legacy modernization projects.
• Direct experience operating within manufacturing / production environments with a strong grasp of IT/OT convergence.
• Hands-on familiarity with Comarch ERP, WMS logistics, enterprise cybersecurity standards, and process automation.
• Proven ability to work in unmapped, unstructured environments and turn chaos into operational order.

Must-Have:

• Proven track record in IT Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, and System Audits.
• In-depth expertise with Comarch ERP systems and WMS environments.
• Hands-on experience navigating industrial / manufacturing environments (IT/OT domain awareness).
• Strong track record in IT Vendor Management, SLA negotiations, and RFP creation.
• Robust understanding of cybersecurity essentials and process automation/AI.
• Exceptional communication skills with absolute ownership and tolerance for ambiguity.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in Multi-entity Holding Groups / Corporate Groups / M&A IT integrations.
• Post-merger system consolidation and data harmonization experience.
