Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Python Developer to join our technology team and contribute to the design and delivery of innovative solutions for complex business challenges. This position involves creating and improving platforms that handle advanced data processing, large-scale information management, automated reporting, and analytics.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, translate them into technical designs, and implement scalable applications. Beyond development, this role emphasizes process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement. We are seeking someone who is proactive, adaptable to shifting priorities, and genuinely passionate about both software engineering and the financial domain.

Main Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable applications in Python, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• Partner with business users and internal teams to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Develop systems for efficient processing, storage, and analysis of large datasets.
• Enhance automation and streamline processes to improve productivity and reduce operational overhead.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 6 years of professional software development experience, ideally with exposure to distributed, high-performance systems (experience in financial services is a plus).
• Strong expertise in server-side Python, including object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Practical knowledge of NumPy and Pandas for data analysis and computation.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and deliver production-ready software solutions.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Bachelor’s or higher).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in additional programming languages such as C#, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with platforms and tools like Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, MS SQL, and AWS.
• Experience in data analysis with SQL, REST APIs, and Python-based frameworks.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructures.
• Understanding of financial instruments, derivatives, valuation, or risk management concepts.
• Background with Agile practices and DevOps toolchains (e.g., JIRA, Git, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy).
