Job Description

- Collaborate with the development team to develop software solutions

- Participate in technology selection, including frameworks and programming languages

- Transfer selected technologies and the architectures you've built

- Product development support and in-house solution implementation

- Develop and manage functionally superior systems, databases, and applications

- Create high-level APIs and code conventions

- Software testing

- Software troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrades

- Understand and apply best practices for security and data protection

- Create technical documentation

Currently, in response to the trend toward promoting digital transformation in the financial industry in Japan, our FinTech team is expanding. Accordingly, we are recruiting new members to develop digital financial products for our clients!

The phrase "finance domain x client work" might typically conjure up images of "robust" or "defensive development." However, at Links, we leverage cutting-edge technologies, including cloud-based solutions, mobile technology, and generative AI (GenAI), to deliver innovative products.

In addition, we provide support from the proof-of-concept (PoC) stage, working with clients not only on requirements definition but also on the conceptual design stage prior to that. As such, Links' strength lies in supporting clients' digital transformation through "proactive development."

Development Environment

Languages: Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, C#, etc.

Firewall: Spring, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, .NET Framework, etc.

Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Azure

Project teams are small, consisting of 5-8 people (including the client's development team). Each team is always assigned one senior engineer with exceptional technical skills, and we offer an environment where you can hone your skills through pair programming and other activities. You will approach development with a long-term perspective, not just coding.

Development Structure

We employ agile development, which is rare in Japan's financial industry, where waterfall development methods are the norm. Since we typically engage directly with clients and receive consultations at the upstream stage, the scope of work is often not yet decided at the start of a project, and we may need to select technology in consultation with the client's development team. Your responsibilities will cover everything from initial development to delivery to users, including specification understanding, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Job Requirements

Experience with one of the following frameworks or languages:

・Spring (Java or Kotlin)

・Vue.js, Nuxt.js, or Quasar

・Go

・C# .NET, ASP .NET

3+ years of experience as a software engineer or similar role

Business-level Japanese (N2 or above) *For foreign nationals only

[Preferred Requirements]

・Experience using AWS, GCP, or Azure

・Team development experience

・Conversational English

・Experience with new product development projects (experience participating in projects from the concept stage)

Salary

JPY - Japanese Yen JPY 5000K - JPY 10000K

（Monthly Salary Range: JPY - Japanese Yen JPY 416.667K - JPY 833.333K *Divided into12month ）

Other Salary Description

¥5,000,000 - ¥10,000,000

Annual salary includes 45 hours of fixed overtime per month.

*Monthly salary includes fixed overtime (¥107,720 - ¥215,439 for 45 hours).

*Overtime work, holiday work, and late-night work exceeding the fixed overtime hours will be paid separately at the statutory premium rate.
