Lean Engineer

About the job:
- Analyzes moderately complex value stream mappings to develop continuous improvement recommendations. Analysis focuses on production/administration processes in the area of quality, safety, delivery, and cost. (60%)
- Draws conclusions on potential improvement strategies for review with the lean team. Recommendations may be shared with the business. (25%)
- Tracks project progress to ensure quality and adherence to project and company objectives. (10%)
- Supports a lean specialty sub committee in area of focus. (5%)
- Other duties as assigned.
About you:
- Bachelor or university degree
- One to two years of experience
- Familiarity with lean practices (six sigma, kaizen)
- Yellow belt certification preferred
- Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
- Knowledge in MS Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
