Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
About the job:
- Maintains staff by orienting and training employees as well as developing personal growth opportunities
- Maintains and monitors workflows and instructions
- Responsible for the production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; process flow on shift production summaries
- Implements Operations standards
- Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action
- Leads Kaizen and LSGA Activities in the department
- Escalates issues as necessary to ensure that manufacturing plans are properly executed
About you:
- College-level or College degree preferred
- • 2+ years of related experience in a supervisory role.
- • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- • Strong attention to detail.
- • Good oral and written communication skills
