Join our team as a Corporate Controller, where you will lead the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting function, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. You will manage the monthly and quarterly close process, maintain a strong internal control environment in compliance with SOX, and develop a team of accounting professionals. This role requires a strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal control frameworks, as well as experience with multi-entity, cross-border, and intercompany accounting.
Missions
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting function, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Own the monthly and quarterly close process and maintain a strong internal control environment in compliance with SOX.
- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, driving process improvement and operational efficiency.
Profil recherché
- Familiarity with Canadian indirect tax requirements (GST/HST, PST, QST)- Strong analytical and account reconciliation skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal control frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with multi-entity, cross-border, and intercompany accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion experience preferred
- CPA designation required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve accounting processes an asset
