Standard Job Description
As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes. A Senior Industrial Engineer:
- Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
- Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
- May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
- Utilizes simulation software and data analysis tools to identify opportunities and measure the impact of suggested changes.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
- 3+ years of relevant IE experience supporting a manufacturing facility
- Experience using data analytics tools, strong preference for Tableau and Alteryx
- Previous experience leading SIA activities
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles
Desired Skills
- First hand experience applying and implementing lean manufacturing principles in a production system
- Familiar with capacity analysis of manufacturing areas
- Exposure to manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Manufacturing simulation experience (FlexSim)
- Experience developing layout enhancements
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
