Join our FX group as a Lead Software Engineer, where you will collaborate with colleagues across the organization to build and implement the technical strategy for a set of Engineering Products. You will lead change in exciting software challenges and customer solutions, and play a crucial role in addressing complex challenges and taking them to resolution. This is a phenomenal opportunity for individuals who enjoy solving a variety of problems and relish the chance to lead the resolution of exciting and new challenges on a regular basis.

Missions

Collaborate with colleagues to build and implement the technical strategy for Engineering Products within the FX group.
Lead change in software challenges and customer solutions by applying business requirements and software engineering experience.
Act as a subject matter expert, delivering high-quality solutions through expert coding and tooling, and leading projects autonomously.

Profil recherché

- Experience or familiarity with financial messaging protocols - particularly FIX is desirable

- Kafka (event-driven messaging)

- Terraform / Helm

- REST / WebSocket

- SQL (Oracle / SQL Server)

- Experience in 3+ of:

- Occasional out of hours work, including overnight and at weekends and Bank Holidays may be requested, as well as on-call technical support

- GitLab CI (or AWS equivalents)

- Azure PaaS (Event Hub, Azure SQL, Kubernetes, Azure Cache, etc.)

- Strong programming skills in at least one language (C++ preferred; Java/others a plus)

- Exposure to at least one of: Business/Technical Analysis, QA, Delivery Management, or Emerging Tech & Governance

- Consistent track record in software development and delivery technology and industry expertise through certifications, professional qualifications
