Longbridge Financial (LBF) is looking for a motivated part-time ( appx 20 hours per week) Recruiting Intern to support our Recruitment Manager. You’ll get hands-on experience in sourcing, screening and onboarding, and you’ll help with other recruitment projects that come up during your internship.
This role suits a current student or recent graduate who wants a practical start in recruiting for a financial services company.
What you’ll do
- Source candidates for open positions
- Screen candidates and give feedback to the hiring team
- Help write and post job openings
- Track background checks through to completion
- Give new hires information about benefits and 401(k) enrollment
Nice to have
- Coursework or experience in recruiting or office administration
- Interest in a career in HR or people operations
- Interest in the financial services industry
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage several tasks at once
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Able to keep information strictly confidential
- Ability to work in the Paramus, NJ office 20 hours a week
- Working in a growing and dynamic industry
- This is a part-time internship 20 hours a week, $20 per hour
