Job Summary

LP Analyst is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role spans application development, cloud integration, and AI product development. You will build features across our internal and client-facing applications and own the integrations that connect them to cloud services and data sources. You will take your work from design through to production, working alongside our engineering team and business stakeholders. You will also help build our AI products, including LLM-powered tools, agents, and workflows, and use AI-assisted development tools as part of how you work.

This position is ideal for a strong problem solver who is passionate about writing clean, scalable code, eager to keep growing their technical skills, and excited to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build features across our client-facing analytics platform and internal applications using C#/.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server, owning delivery from design through production and working with the technical lead on architecture decisions
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code in accordance with team standards and best practices
  • Use AI-assisted development tools effectively in your day-to-day work, while owning the quality, security, and correctness of the code you ship
  • Work with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, think through edge cases and alternatives, and turn them into technical designs and working solutions
  • Plan your work before you build: break features down into tasks, estimate effort, identify risks and dependencies early, and keep the team informed on progress in Azure DevOps
  • Participate in code reviews and guide junior developers on patterns and team standards, while giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, supporting releases and validating changes across environments after deployment
  • Own the integrations connecting our applications to cloud services and data sources on Microsoft Azure
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across application code, cloud integrations, and data movement, working methodically to find root causes and escalating architectural concerns to the technical lead
  • Build AI products and AI-powered features, including LLM-based tools, agents, and workflows, taking them from prototype through production
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices, bringing practical recommendations to the team
  • Participate across the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including design discussions, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance and optimization

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-5 years of professional, hands-on experience in software engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of working through complex or ambiguous problems to practical solutions
  • Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems, including planning the technical approach, weighing trade-offs, and thinking ahead to how a solution will need to grow
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and SQL Server
  • Experience building and deploying applications and integrations on Microsoft Azure
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL; exposure to non-relational databases is a plus
  • Comfort with Git-based workflows, version control, and collaborative development practices
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and automated testing; experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Knowledge of common software design patterns and principles
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework and other common .NET data access frameworks
  • Experience with Python or other languages for AI integration or data automation is a plus
  • Hands-on experience building AI products or integrating LLM capabilities into applications is preferred
  • Regular use of AI coding assistants, with the judgment to review, test, and validate AI-generated code
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teammates
  • Experience reviewing code or guiding junior developers is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required
  • Experience in financial services, asset management, or analytics platforms is a plus
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for this position
