Tasks

What you’ll do:

Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
Design data architectures, models and integration patterns
Support architectural decisions and guide the development team
Analyze and improve migration from Teradata to Databricks
Design, develop and enhance intergrations and data pipelines with the DWH Product Owner
Work with stakeholders to define, validate and prototype solutions
Ensure quality, performance, scalability, maintainability
Prepare documentation, effort estimates and recommendations
Improve standards, best practices and share knowledge within the team

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

5+ years in Data Engineering/Architecture/Data Warehousing
Strong SQL & procedural DB languages (T-SQL, PL/SQL)
Experience designing scalable data solutions/architectures
Hands-on with Databricks, modern data platforms, PySpark, Python (Pandas, NumPy)
Git experience

Database optimization, tuning, partitioning, index/statistics management
Data modeling & integration patterns know-how
Ownership, quality focus, motivation to learn
Passion for data engineering & new tech
English (B2/C1), strong analytical & communication skills
Cloud-based data platforms experience
Availability in Gdańsk office 2x/week

Nice to have:

Large-scale data migration projects
Teradata, Unix/Linux
Agile/Scrum familiarity
Data Governance/Quality frameworks
Functional documentation
Polish language
