Technical Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the delivery of complex technology programs and drive cross-functional execution across engineering, product, and business teams. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical foundation, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and proven experience in driving large-scale programs using Agile methodologies. Candidates who have started their careers in hands-on technical roles such as Software Engineering, QA Engineering, or other technical functions will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of strategic technology programs.
• Drive Agile program execution across multiple engineering teams.
• Manage program timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Business stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Program Increment planning.
• Establish governance mechanisms and provide regular status updates to leadership teams.
• Identify and proactively mitigate project risks and bottlenecks.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and predictability.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of accountability and ownership.

Program and Delivery Management:

• Strong experience in Technical Program Management.
• Proven expertise in Program Management and Delivery Management.
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Strong project planning, execution, and governance skills.

Agile Expertise:

• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and best practices.
• Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments.

Stakeholder Management:

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership, business teams, and engineering organisations.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong people management and team coordination skills.
• Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across teams.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Solid knowledge of Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams and architects.
• An understanding of cloud-native application architectures is preferred.

Preferred Background:

• Candidates should have started their careers in one or more of the following roles: Software Engineer, Technical Engineer, Application Developer, Product Development Engineer.
• A strong technical background is highly preferred before transitioning into Program Management.

Good to Have:

• Experience working on AI-driven products and platforms.
• Exposure to Generative AI initiatives.
• Hands-on understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI/ML product development lifecycle.
• PMP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or similar certifications.
• Strong ownership mindset.

• Ability to manage ambiguity and complex program dependencies.
