- 3 to 4 years' experience in an engineering role with exposure to database platforms, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, and Aurora production environments.
- Strong programming and automation skills using Python, Ansible, and PowerShell, with the ability to troubleshoot and support complex automation solutions.
- Solid understanding of database concepts, T-SQL, cloud services, and automation frameworks leveraging AWS technologies.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and incident management practices to maintain platform reliability and performance.
- Proficiency in version control and software delivery practices, including GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience managing change, incident, and problem management processes; relevant database or cloud certifications are advantageous.
