We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer to support and enhance core life insurance systems in a large-scale enterprise environment. The role focuses on maintaining and optimising Oracle-based applications, developing and refactoring PL/SQL code, and contributing to data transformation and modernisation initiatives across integrated systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance Oracle based life insurance systems
Develop, optimise, and refactor PL SQL queries, packages, triggers and procedures
Analyse and implement data structure changes across integrated systems
Collaborate with analysts and architects to ensure accuracy and consistency of data
Support data migrations and system transformation initiatives
Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation
Work effectively across both legacy and modernised system components

Requirements

3-4 years of commercial experience withSQL and PL SQL
Strong experience working withOracle Database
Ability to analyse data structures, dependencies, and flows
Experience working in large transactional environments
Understanding of system integration and redundancy
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

Experience with legacy technologies (Clipper, Harbour, JavaScript)
Familiarity with .NET ecosystem
Experience working in insurance or financial domains
Exposure to ETL or data integration toolsets
