Job Responsibilities:
The SAP SD, JIS/TIS Analyst is responsible for supporting business-critical Sales & Distribution, Logistics Execution, and Transportation Management processes across European operations. The role provides 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level SAP support, analyzes and resolves system issues, and delivers functional consulting for enhancements, change requests, and new technical solutions.
The successful candidate combines strong SAP SD expertise with knowledge of logistics processes, EDI standards, IDoc integration, and automotive supply chain operations. They act as a trusted partner to the business by optimizing processes, ensuring system stability, and delivering solutions that support operational excellence and customer requirements in a dynamic international environment.
Major Responsibilities
- Ensure regional support across Europe
- Processing of 1st,2nd,3rd level support issues in our standard ticketing system
- Consulting and Customizing of change requests and new technical solutions
- Manage smaller projects independently
- Support of rollout Projects
- Deliver User trainings
Knowledge and Education
- Studies in Business Informatics or other comparable education
Work Experience
- Minimum 3 years work experience in SAP SD as well as logistic execution and transportation (LE-TRA and/or SAP TM)
- Good experience in process modeling and customizing
- Good experience in technical setup of standard SD IDocs
- knowledge about European EDI standards
- Experiences with IS-A-JIT - summarized JIT and just-in-sequence (JIS) processes
- Experience from rollout and/or implementation projects
- Cross knowledge of other modules like WM and/or EWM are highly welcome
- Basic knowledge in ABAP and forms design (experiences in development are welcome)
- Basic knowledge in customs and foreign trade
Skills and Competencies
- SAP, MS Office Tools, Microsoft Outlook
- Profound English language skills (written and oral)
- Other language skills are very welcome
Work Environment
Regular overnight travel 10-25% of the time
