Job Responsibilities:
As an experienced accountant (m/f/x), you will be responsible for the management of the entire accounting agenda in this varied position. You will be part of the multi-member accounting team and report directly to the Senior Manager, Accounting.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements based on US GAAP
- Ongoing coordination and processing of accounting agendas (e.g. accruals)
- Handling of the annual audits according to local law with the auditors
- Control of compliance with deadlines and internal guidelines (SOX, Compliance, Legal)
- Collaboration and support in the development and implementation of local and global process improvements (SAP, SOX, etc.) and interface improvements
Knowledge and training
- Commercial training (HAK/HAS or similar)
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Senior Accountant (m/f/x)
- Accountant examination or equivalent training
Knowledge and skills
- SAP R/3 or S/4 Hana Cloud is an advantage
- Good Excel, OneStream and Group Accounting skills
- US GAAP knowledge is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, additional German is an advantage
- Independent and organized way of working
- Reliability, accuracy and stress resistance
- Team player with a hands-on mentality
