MAJORITY is looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our Backend team. This is a full time, hybrid position based at our office in Stockholm, Sweden. Developers may work from home up to 2 days a week.
About our platform and MAJORITY

- Our backend is C# microservices on Kubernetes, connected through events where every message counts

- To secure high quality code we practice code review and pair programming, we use CI/CD and automated testing
- We also have a lot of fun together. We have a lunch run club, play foosball and other games, go to the gym, AWs etc

Basic Requirements
- Experience building and running microservices and event-based systems in production, at scale
- A track record of shipping real systems and supporting them in production
- Solid understanding of distributed systems reliability: idempotency, retries, ordering and eventual consistency
- Good understanding of higher level architecture and design
- Excellent communication skills in English
Ideal candidate
- Experience with C#, Kubernetes and SQL, or similar
- Experience with payment platforms, FinTech, Banking or security
- Experience working with a growing team on evolving products with many users
- Experience building new products with an eye on maintainability and scalability
- Vision for product development and for how a code base evolves
- Uses AI tools like Claude or Codex in daily work
- Happy hacking on new technology, loves R&D
- A degree in computer science
