In search of a culinary wizard who knows that great food can take an experience from special to extraordinary and who has a strong desire to set that standard. A Junior Sous Chef is meticulous and consistent with an eye for detail, a passion for creativity, and the desire to learn. This individual is comfortable leading and training others and has a working knowledge of ordering, inventory, and costing standards.
Requested Tasks:
- Assist in managing kitchen operations, providing leadership and guidance.
- Prepare and cook menu items to quality standards ensuring excellence and thoughtfulness.
- Assist with inventory oversight.
- Bring innovative and exciting menu options for consideration.
Requested Capabilities:
- Prior experience as a Junior Sous Chef highly preferred
- Able to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent service standards.
- Guest-first mentality; excellent communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
- Prior team leadership highly preferred.
