We are looking for a Logistics Specialist (based in SWEP Slovakia, Kechnec)
Logistics Specialist manages the refill, shipments, claims and safety stocks for warehouses: EDC (European Distribution Centre), CFW (Carrier France Warehouse), TFW (Trane France Warehouse) and VSW (Vaillant Slovakia Warehouse) and analyzes compliance with the agreed rules for ATP (Available to promise) in ERP.
As a Logistics Specialist, you will:
- Replenish the stocks for EDC, CFW, TFW and VSW based on agreed safety stocks, forecast (if available) and take-outs. Coordinate deliveries from multiple factories around the world, calculate the relevant delivery time and take into account the current transports situation and production lead time
- Maintain stocks at a reasonable and agreed level and ensure inventory turns
- Review contracts, especially stock agreements/commitments on regular basis. Draw attention to the items that don’t meet requirements of stock agreement
- Handle customer claims in cooperation with Customer support
- Handle internal claims throughout NCR
- Setting up new stock items for warehouses in ERP
- Invoice warehouse orders for CFW, TFW and VSW
- Receive goods into CFW, TFW and VSW into ERP. Stocks comparison of SWEP ERP and customer’s ERP
- Coordinate express orders according to approval
- Check delivery status in internal TLS system
- Monitor and analyze the rules set for ATP and report findings to relevant colleagues
- Communicate with: (1) Operation: planners, shipping, quality, (2) Warehouse coordinators, (3) Sales: customer support, sales representatives, (4) Transportation companies
- Regularly inform Demand planning Manager about any issues, such as differences in the EMEA warehouse stocks, violation of the rules in ATP, etc.
We are looking for candidates ideally demonstrating:
- Experience from ERP systems in supply chain (planning, warehousing, logistics)
You need to be fluent in English, you will work in SWEP Global Team.
We also expect you:
- are collaborative nature and clear communicator
- have strong sense of combining (different plants, different delivery times, exchange orders and customers)
- balance technical compliance with business realities (analytical mindset, detail orientation, systemic thinking, high patience, adaptability)
You also have:
Minimum 2 years for the position relevant experience.
