The company is looking for a General Manager who is commercially focused, practical and results-driven. The post holder will supervise business operations, push market expansion and make sure commercial goals are delivered successfully.
The chosen candidate will be accountable for everyday operations, assemble and guide a strong-performing team, uncover fresh commercial prospects, look after relationships with clients and strategic partners, and deliver results that can be measured.
This position calls for a forward-thinking business leader who combines sound commercial judgement with strong people leadership and the self-assurance to act as the organisation’s representative during client meetings, presentations and commercial negotiations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise day-to-day commercial activity and confirm that business goals are carried out efficiently.
- Create and put into action plans that increase income, extend market reach and improve profitability.
- Assemble, coordinate and inspire teams; define clear objectives and maintain accountability.
- Spot fresh commercial prospects, form strategic alliances and grow the customer base.
- Cultivate and sustain robust links with clients, partners and important stakeholders.
- Represent the business in meetings, presentations, negotiations and client-focused engagements.
- Keep track of budgets, income, costs and operational results.
- Create and refine business processes, systems and operating procedures.
- Observe market developments, customer requirements and competitor actions to spot avenues for growth.
- Measure performance through relevant KPIs and prepare regular management reports.
