Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot manual and programmable sewing machines to ensure smooth production operations.
• Assist in the development of virtual and physical prototypes, both internally and with partners, to support the creation of open innovation briefs.
• Support the team in understanding technology requirements for new projects and growth platforms and contribute to identifying solutions for technological challenges.
• Conduct research on adoptable technologies and support the identification of potential partners for collaborative projects.
• Communicate with the team on proposed solutions and value propositions to support timely project delivery.
• Assist in identifying suitable technology platforms using appropriate tools to support the development of technology proposals.

Qualifications

• Following or completed a Professional Qualification or NDT in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic, or Automation Engineering.
• One year of relevant work experience in sewing machine maintenance will be an added advantage.
• Mechanic course (Preferably from German Tech) SolidWorks/ Fusion 360 knowledge. (CAD designing software)
• Operating and programming automated/programmable sewing machines such as JUKI PM1 and Brother PS300.
• Basic knowledge of pattern sewer and bar tack machines.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and support innovative projects.
