Senior Engineer

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Engineer to join an established industrial operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving engineering projects, improving equipment reliability and supporting operational efficiency through effective maintenance and engineering solutions. Duties & Responsibilities
The role:

• You will oversee engineering projects and maintenance activities, provide technical direction to engineering teams, and drive improvements across plant, machinery and production operations.
• The role combines hands-on engineering involvement with project oversight, mechanical design and technical leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• BSc, BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• 7–10 years' relevant experience in a manufacturing, production or heavy industrial environment
• Strong exposure to mechanical engineering, industrial equipment and maintenance operations
• Experience in engineering project management and leading technical teams
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE software and mechanical engineering drawings
• Experience with hydraulic systems and related equipment
• Knowledge of electrical control systems
• Exposure to industrial machinery, mechanical assemblies and structural design
• Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• A valid driver's licence
• Good computer literacy and knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements
