Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform specialised studies and analysis
- Provide product specific technical support
- Deliver standardised outputs
- Provide support technical, economic and commercial processes related to ancillary services and associated market function
- Performance monitoring of ancillary services
- Support technical, operational and performance reporting activities.
- Testing and certification of ancillary services providers
- Provide support in the design of Demand Side Management and Demand Response products

- Quality of supply, voltage control, and frequency control.
- Eskom/NTCSA organisational structures and customer requirements
- Information systems
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
- BSc Eng. or B Eng. in Electrical/ at NQF 8 with 480 Credits
Experience:
- 2 Yrs. Technical Experience in Power Generation, Transmission or Distribution
Professional Registration Body:
- Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) registered as Candidate Enginee
