Air Freight Controller

A strong freight forwarding environment is looking for an experienced Air Freight Controller who can bring confidence, organisation and current hands-on knowledge of air imports and exports to a role where accuracy and customer service matter every day. This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys working across bookings, shipment tracking, documentation, airline liaison and customs coordination, while keeping control of costs and service standards in a fast-moving operations setting. It is a solid move for a logistics professional who wants to stay close to the action, take ownership of live shipments and add value through clear communication, sound judgement and well-managed execution. Duties & Responsibilities

• Diploma in a relevant field is required
• 2 to 3 years’ experience for junior level, or 7 to 8 years for senior level; at least 5 years’ experience is essential
• Current experience in logistics or operations is non-negotiable
• Strong background in air imports and exports within a freight forwarding environment
• Experience with air freight bookings, shipment tracking and preparing documentation
• Confident customer communication, airline liaison and customs coordination skills
• Excellent written and spoken English, with a well-organised approach
