- Plan and execute a network strategy that is in conformity with the short and long term business strategy.
- 2nd level of communication to resolve users issues and escalates to Dubai Technology Team.
- Ensure that requirements and priorities are properly defined and are in line with business needs.
- Evaluate new and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities to exploit them for business advantage.
- Prepare feasibility studies, time and cost estimates and implementation plans.
- Identify right partnerships and do contract negotiations.
- Identify consultancy needs and facilitate knowledge transfer consultants to technology staff.
- Develop, administer and control annual budgets and resource plans.
- Monitor projects to design, test and implement systems / applications.
- Assign, direct and check the work of systems engineers and system support staff to ensure that business solutions are achieved.
- Provide technical direction to the staff to ensure that standards and procedures are followed.
- Evaluate performance of subordinates' team members, make compensation and bonus decisions, hire and fire employees.
- Coordinate technical activities with internal support groups to facilitate resolution of user problems.
