The CMF Account Manager is responsible for driving sales of CMF implants, including standard and customized solutions, to university and other hospitals across German-speaking countries. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing and growing existing hospital accounts, building trusted customer relationships, and contributing to strategic sales goals. The position works closely with international colleagues, including the Belgian team, to align commercial activities and leverage content support.
Responsibilities:
- Sell CMF implants, including standard and customized solutions, to hospitals in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
- Identify, generate, and develop new sales opportunities to expand the business in the assigned territory
- Manage existing customer relationships and drive account development within target hospitals
- Contribute actively to the achievement of strategic objectives and sales targets
- Seek and develop synergies with account managers from other business lines to support joint sales approaches
- Build a strong network within target hospitals and establish a trusted advisor relationship with stakeholders
- Monitor market trends, customer developments, and competitive activity, and share relevant insights internally
- Collaborate closely with international colleagues, particularly the Belgian team, who provide content support
- Prepare and deliver regular reporting on sales results, pipeline development, and quarterly progress to the line manager
Profile:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience
- Experience selling medical technology products or customized implants is preferred
- Ideally holds a technical degree or vocational qualification in medical technology, business, or a comparable healthcare-related field
- Strong relationship-building capability and motivation to achieve results
- Good networking skills and analytical thinking
- Able and willing to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally to headquarters in Belgium
- Strong self-organization skills and comfortable working independently in an international environment
- Excellent German and good English language skills
- Proficient in MS Office
