Junior / Trainee DevOps Engineer

About the Project
We are looking for a motivated Junior / Trainee DevOps Engineer to join our global operations team supporting and developing infrastructure for a large international company.
This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, CI/CD processes, and production support while working alongside experienced DevOps engineers in a global environment.

Responsibilities
Support and maintain cloud infrastructure and business-critical applications.
Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure and application issues.
Participate in the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
Support automation initiatives to reduce manual operational work.
Assist with infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Work closely with development and operations teams to improve deployment and release processes.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, deployment activities, and production support.
Contribute to documentation of infrastructure, procedures, and operational processes.
Learn and apply DevOps best practices in daily activities.
Help identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
Must Have
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or final-year student).
Basic understanding of Linux administration and command-line tools.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Basic knowledge of Git and version control systems.
Understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD principles.
Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate English level (written and spoken).

Nice to Have
Experience with AWS services.
Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
Basic understanding of Kubernetes.
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
Knowledge of Ansible or other automation tools.
Personal, educational, or internship projects related to DevOps, Cloud, or System Administration.
AWS Cloud Practitioner or other cloud certifications.
