Codesign Automation Engineer

MatX's mission is to make the world’s best AI models run as efficiently as allowed by physics, bringing the world years ahead in AI quality and availability.

What You'll Do Here:

• Automate everything around our chip architecture design methodology

• Guide and tune AI coding agents for specific workflows

• Automate creation of documentation, test coverage reports, visualizations, and design artifacts

• Manage product versioning

• Optimize simulation execution

• Collaborate closely with Architects, MicroArchitects, Software, and Physical Design teams

Who You Are:

• Strong background in automation (LLM-based and otherwise) and DevOps

• Experience with compilers, IRs, and ISAs

• Exposure to hardware design and EDA tools is a plus

• Bazel or similar build system a plus

Compensation

The US base salary for this full-time position is determined based on a variety of factors including role, experience, location, job related skills, and relevant education and training. Career length is only a guideline for compensation.

• Early Career - $120,000 - $275,000 + equity

• Mid Career - $175,000 - $450,000 + equity

• Senior Career - $275,000 - $600,000 + equity
