We're hiring backend engineers with strong fundamentals in data structures & algorithms and hands-on experience building server-side systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services.
- Write high-quality, testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to ship features that matter.
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and improve system performance.
Requirements:
- Very strong command of data structures and algorithms; able to write clean, efficient, well-reasoned code.
- Solid backend engineering experience in Python and/or Java.
- Good grasp of core CS fundamentals: OOP, concurrency, databases, and API design.
- Experience building, scaling, or debugging production-grade backend services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to own features end-to-end.
Nice to have:
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching.
- Exposure to system design (especially for SDE-2).
