Responsibilities:
- Work with Product Leadership and core engineering teams to develop and track detailed schedules, dependencies and critical paths.
- Collaborate effectively with all project stakeholders, including Product Management, Finance, Data teams, etc.
- Hire, retain, and develop the careers of the engineers on your team.
- Coach and motivate your team to ensure high productivity and teamwork, and help each individual achieve their potential.
- Encourage and drive initiatives which promote innovation and technical excellence.
- Interface with other internal teams to prioritise features and functionality based on the resources available and business priorities.
- Clearly communicate any risk areas to upper management and come up with risk mitigation plans.
Requirements:
- Experience building scalable mobile and full-stack application development, managing excellent CFRs(Crash Free Rates), reliability, and providing a good user experience.
- Hands-on management experience leading high-performing teams of engineers and/or engineering managers.
- Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
- Experience communicating highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with the payments systems and/or building features for gaming platforms.
- Experience: Mobile and Web Application Development Experience, along with an understanding of Backend systems.
- Strong understanding of popular FE frameworks like React Native/ React JS/ Node JS/Vue JS.
- Candidate to have 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Candidate to have 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager and have successfully managed a team of 15+ Software Engineers.
- Hands-on in System Design.
- Experience in code maintenance and review using JavaScript / Typescript/ GO / Python / Javascript / Ruby.
- Good to have Gaming industry experience.
- Hands-on leadership experience. Healthy tenure (2+ years per role).
- Strong track record of promotions.
- Able to work in the office 3 days a week in Bangalore, India.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field of study, or equivalent industry experience.
