Sr Software Engineer -Applied Capabilities

Como Software Engineer Backend en Mercado Libre, diseñarás y escalarás sistemas innovadores y seguros que resuelven problemas reales y de alto impacto. Trabajarás en un entorno dinámico con tecnología de vanguardia, aplicando buenas prácticas de ingeniería, modelos de IA propios y aprendizaje continuo, con el propósito de democratizar el comercio electrónico y los servicios financieros en América Latina.

Imagináte emprendiendo proyectos desafiantes, dinámicos e innovadores y siendo responsable de:

  • Relevar problemáticas técnicas, co-construir soluciones y arquitecturas que garanticen excelencia en performance y escalabilidad.

  • Diseñar y evolucionar arquitecturas que permitan escalar ejecuciones masivas basadas en IA, optimizando la concurrencia, el procesamiento distribuido, los tiempos de respuesta y los costos de infraestructura, con foco en robustez, observabilidad y estabilidad en producción.

  • Diseñar e implementar APIs y servicios backend que integren múltiples sistemas dentro del ecosistema MELI.

  • Realizar estimaciones, análisis de impacto y asegurar calidad en la ejecución.

  • Trabajar en entornos de alto tráfico y alta disponibilidad.

  • Aportar visión técnica en un proyecto que evoluciona rápido, integrando componentes de IA, simulación y backend distribuido.

  • Colaborar con equipos multidisciplinarios: Data Scientists, Data Engineers, UX y otros perfiles técnicos.

¿Qué buscamos en vos?

  • Experiencia en diseño y desarrollo de APIs y servicios backend escalables.

  • Manejo de buenas prácticas de ingeniería: SOLID, TDD, patrones de diseño, clean architecture.

  • Conocimientos en versionamiento de código y mejores prácticas dentro de MELI: CI/CD, GIT, AWS, GCP.

  • Conocimiento de arquitectura de microservicios.

  • Deseable: interés o experiencia en LLMs, integraciones de IA, o herramientas de frontend (React.js / Nordic / Andes) para prototipos internos.
