Role Overview

Exciting opportunity in HR IT to develop new capabilities within Workday Application and Integration space. We are looking for a talented IT Analyst to design, develop, and maintain integrations and custom applications within the Workday ecosystem.

What will you do in this role

  • Design and develop complex integrations between Workday and external systems, using tools such as Informatica IICS , Workday Studio, Workday Core Connectors, Report Writer, and Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs). Workday Extend a plus.

  • Gather, understand, and analyse Business requirements; Develop an understanding of technical change impacts for assigned integrations which includes Proof of Concepts.

  • Accountable for production integration remediations and enhancement projects as designated by HR IT priorities

  • Maintains proper change management documentation (SDLC) to satisfy the company’s internal/external policy audit controls.

  • Performs code migrations across the Workday landscapes

  • You’re skilled at managing and cultivating relationships with stakeholders.

  • Create custom Workday applications with Workday Extend to meet unique business needs.

  • Architect scalable Workday applications that integrate seamlessly with core Workday modules including HCM, Learning and Recruiting

  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and turn them into technical magic.

  • Keep up with Workday best practices and security standards in all integrations.

  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing integrations, ensuring smooth operations.

  • Document technical specifications and share knowledge with support teams.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient integration solutions that make a difference.

What should you have

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Min 5 years of IT professional experience

  • Expertise building Workday Integrations utilizing connectors such as CCW, PI, PECI, WECI Orchestration OR Informatica IICS/Equivalent Middleware technologies

  • 2 years of hands-on experience in other Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, and Complex reporting with Report Writer. Workday Extend a plus. Knowledge with RaaS.

  • Proficiency in Web Services protocols (SOAP, REST) and data formats (XML, JSON).

  • Familiarity with integration security standards and protocols, including SSL, SAML, and OAuth.

  • Knowledge of Batch scheduling, Monitoring, and Security (Integration System user and Integration System Groups)

  • Strong navigation skills within Workday application suite.

  • Functional knowledge on Workday HR modules - Core HR, Compensation, Recruiting and Talent Management

  • Third party vendor integration experience, and ability to manage requirements and issue resolutions with vendor partner

  • Strong documentation skills related to technical specifications

  • Direct experience in Change Management

  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced HR systems organization, participating in cross-divisional projects and building peer relationships.

  • Strong Communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with ability to influence and build relationships across broad range of stakeholders. Communicate effectively and timely with Management on assigned work status.

  • Knowledge of product model concepts

  • Operating in DevOps structure to support Product lifecycle Management.

  • Adept at managing relationships across geography and culture

  • Proven track record of driving innovation and bringing fresh ideas to life.

  • A high sense of ownership and accountability; you take pride in your work.

  • Commitment to execution excellence; you're dedicated to delivering the best.

  • Experience in system designs, crafting robust and efficient systems.

  • Skilled in management system development, proactively designing and developing optimized processes.
