We are seeking a *Senior Software Engineer - E4* to act as a senior technical leader with a full-stack focus. In this role, you will solve complex technical challenges, provide technical guidance, and shape the architectural vision that spans multiple teams and impacts the broader organisation.
Who You Are:
* 8+ years of experience building and shipping scalable web and mobile applications with a strong full-stack background.
* Proven expertise in system design, distributed systems, and modern software architecture with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
* While experience with our stack (Python/Django, Celery, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, React, React Native) is preferred, it’s not mandatory.
* Strong communication & collaboration with product and design teams to create user-centric and technically sound products.
* Passionate about AI and its potential to transform software development and products with AI integration, automation, or tooling. Hands-on experience is a strong plus.
* Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to others
What You'll Do:
* Design and architect scalable, high-impact solutions for large and complex projects.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to prioritise and execute on the highest ROI projects and deliver at aggressive timelines.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior and junior engineers.
* Drive strategic technical decisions and architecture reviews that influence cross-team initiatives and long-term product vision.
* Champion the adoption and integration of AI to enhance development workflows, automate routine tasks, and innovate product capabilities.
* Maintain high standards of code quality, reviews, technical feedback, and documentation.
* Maintain peak team productivity by juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
