  • Assess and deploy a new payroll system for 2026 and introduce new processes and capabilities in partnership with business leaders as new functionality is introduced.
  • Serve as the payroll subject matter expert during the due diligence and combination phases supporting MGT’s inorganic growth plan.
  • Design and implement payroll policies and procedures to support our organization's growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and practices and with federal, state, and local employment laws, including timely tax filings, registrations, and reporting to federal, state, and local agencies. Stay current with changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance with those changes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements based on trends, best practices, and payroll regulations. Lead process improvement initiatives. Establish and maintain open communication channels to solicit employee feedback on payroll-related matters. Act as a liaison between employees and management to ensure employee concerns are addressed effectively.
  • Provide consultation, guidance, and support in all matters related to payroll operations, HR technologies, and payroll compliance.
  • Develop and analyze appropriate payroll and system metrics, data, SLAs, and trends to meet management information needs.
  • Lead or contribute to other HR-related duties, projects, and initiatives involving the HR lifecycle, HR technology implementations, process improvements, and compliance audits.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
