Job Description:
The Quality Engineer-I will support quality requirements by:
- Act as the primary quality liason between product strategy, technical development, and production execution.
- Collect and analyze quality performance data, yield rates, and process metrics to spot trends.
- Work on the Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) system: Products/process quality issues, containment action plans, root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
- Assist the Quality Engineering Team with the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Participate as an audit team member to ensure compliance to AS9100 and assess effectiveness of the QMS.
- Help facilitate continual improvement and learning culture across all functional areas through training and communication of quality initiatives.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Material Science (or equivalent)
0-2 years of related experience in semiconductor manufacturing design or processing, Quality Assurance
Detail oriented and critical thinker characteristics are required.
Teamwork spirit is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for detailed metric and technical reports / presentations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals of all levels.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304 - $143,000.**Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
