Job Description

Join our DRAM Products and Architecture Group (DPAG) as an Industrial Engineer (IE) and help shape how we plan and complete future DRAM products. You will collaborate with global engineering, program management, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to solve complex problems and deliver significant business impact.

In this role, you will develop DRAM module forecasts, cost strategies, and early product life-cycle demand models that support successful product development and driving execution, making sure that road blockers are eliminated. You will also innovate with AI-assisted tools, automation, and advanced analytics to improve Industrial Engineering models and workflows, increase efficiency, and enable faster, data-driven decisions. You will combine these technologies with engineering judgment and responsible AI practices while continuously learning and improving how we work.

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance AI-assisted demand and forecasting models that translate product development needs into actionable plans, including long-term engineering demand, special product flows, and evolving requirements.
  • Collaborate across global teams in Innovation, Technology, & Products (ITP), Global Supply Chain (GSC), Business Units, and Compute Customer Enablement (CCE) to align development requirements, laboratory priorities, build quantities, and execution plans.
  • Drive efficiency and cost optimization by developing OpEx strategies, improving inventory and cycle time, identifying expenditure opportunities, and communicating forecasts, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders and product teams.
  • Provide experimental and execution support for Product Engineering development activities, including reflows, fuse sort, and business upside opportunities.
  • Innovate with AI, automation, and data analytics to analyze complex datasets, strengthen decision-making, automate repeatable workflows, perform problem-solving and root-cause analysis, and improve the quality and speed of engineering execution.
  • Develop and continuously improve product-development flows across development chips, New Product Introduction (NPI), and sustaining products, supporting engineering inventory health, qualification activities, experiments, documentation, and learning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in capacity planning, forecasting, data analysis, or related Industrial Engineering methods, with the ability to develop analytical models that support engineering or manufacturing decisions.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify root causes, and develop practical recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration, with the ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English and influence technical and business collaborators across a global organization.
  • Ability to build and develop AI-assisted, automation, or advanced analytics solutions that improve efficiency, workflows, and data-driven decision-making, while applying appropriate human judgment and responsible AI practices.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize work, manage changing requirements, and drive impactful outcomes across scope, schedule, cost, and execution risk.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with engineering demand planning, product forecasting, capacity planning, inventory optimization, or supply chain processes in a manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Experience collaborating across product engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and business organizations on complex product-development programs.
  • Ability to craft clear, concise presentations and recommendations for technical teams, multi-functional partners, and senior leaders.
  • Experience applying AI, automation, or advanced analytics to develop scalable engineering tools, streamline repetitive work, and improve business processes.
  • A continuous-learning attitude with demonstrated interest in innovation, process improvement, and developing more efficient engineering methodologies.
