This is an outstanding opportunity to bring to bear your statistical expertise to drive strategic decisions and operational excellence within a world-class organization.
Work closely with data scientists and engineers to craft data insights for Micron's future.
Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Structuring: Gather and consolidate data from multiple departments into structured databases.
- Statistical Analysis: Use statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Python) to perform calculations, power analyses, and interpret data patterns.
- Insight Generation: Identify trends and correlations that inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
- Reporting: Share findings with collaborators through reports, dashboards, or executive briefings.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of work experience as a statistician in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in statistical tools and programming languages.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated track record in planning and forecasting.
- Familiarity with yield and quality analysis.
- Expertise in master data governance and process optimization.
- Ability to successfully implement data-driven solutions within a fast-paced environment.
