Job Description:
If you are an exceptional Global Quality System Analyst with expertise in Quality Systems at Micron Technology, Inc., you will collaborate closely with Process Owners, Standards Program Managers, and Leaders globally to implement, advocate for, and enhance quality frameworks at Micron. Business Process Management and Improvement
The ability to seamlessly integrate analytical thinking with a deep understanding of our organizational dynamics. This skill is essential for identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and implementing sustainable improvements that align with our company's strategic goals. This role requires not just enhancing operational efficiency, but also fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within our organization.
QMS Governance
Must have knowledge of and experience working within a QMS. This includes interpretation of requirements and management of documents, processes, and procedures.
Communication
This position involves facilitating connections across product development, engineering, and operations. Strong technical writing skills and effective communication are essential.
Oversight of Projects and Programs
Dedication, promptness, and outcome focus are crucial! With all team members aspiring to meet the company’s objectives, it is essential to possess effective project management skills and organized strategies for significant choices. This involves adopting a systematic method for change management.
Change Leader
You should have the capacity to persuade and energize others through personal endorsement, foresight, and determination. This role might be demanding and necessitates you to welcome the discomfort, actively listen, and adapt to enable continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the team to guarantee seamless implementation and consistently improve quality management systems.
Responsibilities:
Develop and coordinate the Micron management system for quality and the QMS framework.
- Analyze current business processes and find opportunities for improvement through the adoption of systems applications and automation.
- Design, develop, and implement transformative or automation solutions to optimize business workflows and increase efficiency.
- Develop and manage all aspects of the QMS framework, encompassing the quality manual, policy, standards, initiatives, and projects.
- Monitor QMS performance metrics and ensure collaborators are responsible.
- Lead assigned initiatives to enhance Micron’s management system for quality, with emphasis on streamlining and simplifying processes through improved business process development.
Deploy the QMS requirements and structure across processes and sites:
- Be accountable for the integration of QMS across the value chain.
- Work with local teams to build and implement site deployment plans.
- Collaborate with individuals overseeing processes to develop and carry out deployment strategies throughout the organization.
- Serve as a point of contact for QMS and provide post-deployment support.
- Communicate quality standards and processes and explain them to QMS collaborators.
- Coach and guide the enterprise on proper implementation and use of the quality standards, including conducting formal training where appropriate.
- Assess the QMS through activities of verification and validation.
Spearhead QMS improvement endeavors within the local scope and across the enterprise:
- Gather feedback on quality issues and work within the QMS-SPE team for resolutions.
- Take charge of improving QMS business processes.
- Share lessons learned in closed loop.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or other related technical fields.
- Proven experience with QMS governance, including document management and process improvement.
- Prior involvement in project/program management, showcasing a structured approach to controlling change.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain quality standards and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- The ability to interpret and effectively resolve complex, technical, or ambiguous requests and problems, along with the skill to empower and guide change, promoting a culture of continuous advancement.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks by effectively prioritizing daily activities. Open to constructive feedback and actively engaged in improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of quality standards for the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry or related manufacturing sectors.
- Deep understanding of Micron’s Quality Management System.
- Outstanding organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI applications, with the ability to identify and leverage AI-driven solutions to improve QMS processes, quality data analysis, compliance monitoring, and operational efficiency.
