Responsibilities:
Design and implement cross-platform APIs forEnterpriseSSDvalidationand characterization.
Developand integratetheAPIsofnewtest equipment/toolsfor test automation.
Define,planand execute a test automation strategy, to contribute to theon-goingdevelopment of in-house automation frameworks/tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams toimplementrobust test designs based onnewfeatureorcustomerrequirements.
TroubleshootSSDand software integrationissues,implement systematicapproachesto reproduce and root cause theproblem.
Constantly evaluate,refineand enhance validationapproaches to drive better coverageandshift-leftthe detection of failures from customer to internal test framework.
Identifyautomation opportunities and implement solutions to improve test scalability and efficiency.
Maintaingood documentationon the test methodologies,workflowsand resultsto ensurefuturetraceability and reference.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree inElectrical/Electronic/Computer Engineeringor equivalent.
Solid experience inobject-orientedprogrammingconcepts;Python preferred.
Ability to communicate complex design patterns through UML documentation.
Working experience in Windows or Linux stack/kernel/driveris highly desired.
Good hands-on experience inoperatingsystemsAPI such as process controls, memory management and device driver interactionswould bebeneficial.
Excellent knowledge ofsystem storage and the relationshipto the platform peripherals: CPU, memory, PCIe, drivers, OS, firmwareis a plus.
Ability to analyze problems,diagnosetoroot cause, and apply corrective actions.
Experience with Agile product development processes and project management.
Strong communication, facilitation,negotiationand teamwork skills across sites & time zones.
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing environment with shifting demands.
