SECURITY ARCHITECT
Are you an experienced cybersecurity professional with a passion for designing secure IT environments? We are looking for a skilled
Security Architect to design, develop, and implement robust security solutions to protect our organization’s IT infrastructure, applications,
networks, and sensitive data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 6 REQUIREMENTS
Design and develop enterprise-wide security architectures, frameworks, and strategies.
Assess IT systems, networks, applications, and infrastructure to identify security risks and vulnerabilities.
Establish security standards, policies, and best practices in line with industry frameworks.
Design and implement security solutions covering network security, cloud security, identity and access management, and data protection.
Conduct security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modelling.
Ensure security controls align with business requirements and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with IT infrastructure, development, and cybersecurity teams to integrate security into systems and applications.
Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend appropriate solutions.
Support incident response planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
Provide technical guidance on security improvements and risk mitigation strategies.

A degree or professional qualification in Information
Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security architecture.
Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, encryption, identity and access management, and endpoint security.
Experience with cloud security, security frameworks, risk management, and security architecture principles.
Understanding of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
Knowledge of threat modelling, vulnerability management, and security assessment methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SABSA will be an added advantage.
