We are looking for a motivated Associate Cyber Security Engineer who is eager to develop hands-on experience in security operations, vulnerability management, application security, and compliance.
© what You'll Do
Monitor security systems, investigate alerts, and support incident response and escalation.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, security scans, and web application security testing, tracking remediation efforts.
Support patch management, security documentation, incident response procedures, and security awareness initiatives.
Assist with compliance activities, risk assessments, control documentation, audit evidence, and remediation of compliance gaps across relevant frameworks.
Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement security best practices and stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
@ What We're Looking For
A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or networking. Internships and hands- on projects are an advantage.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and VPNs) and core security principles.
Familiarity with security tools such as Wazuh, Nmap, Burp Suite, or Metasploit.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
QO Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, PUPT, or eJPT.
Exposure to scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell), cloud security (AWS, Azure, or
GCP), MITRE ATT&CK, or compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST,
