We are looking to hire a hands-on Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to join our diverse, talented, high performance, and innovative team, focused on driving rapid cloud solutions on Azure via the Cloud Accelerate Factory. The Cloud Accelerate Factory is best suited for individuals that are highly technical, solution focused and have a passion for Project Management. The Cloud Accelerate Factory provides opportunity to drive feedback into Microsoft’s core product teams to help improve our platform.

CSAs are senior individual contributors who operate globally and engage directly with customers. It is a hands-on technical and governance role spanning across design, build, and production. Candidates are expected to comfortably switch from a whiteboard to the keyboard. Responsibilities

• Lead Customer Transformation & Business Growth: Drive complex customer engagements by delivering strategically aligned solutions, accelerating adoption, optimizing architectures for security, resilience, AI, cost, and performance, and identifying opportunities to expand Microsoft services, consumption, and business value.
• Act as a Trusted Executive Advisor: Build relationships with technical and business decision-makers up to the C-suite, translate customer challenges into business-focused solutions, influence adoption strategies, and serve as the voice of the customer to help shape Microsoft products and priorities.
• Drive Partner & Ecosystem Success: Lead collaboration with partners and sales teams to uncover strategic opportunities, support complex pre-sales engagements, develop scalable partner offerings, and influence partner investments and adoption of Microsoft technologies.
• Provide Organizational & Technical Leadership: Mentor and develop others, lead virtual teams, contribute to frameworks and intellectual property, influence product and process improvements, share industry expertise, and drive innovation that scales customer success across Microsoft and the broader technology community

A Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) within the Cloud & AI Platforms Global Customer Success team focused on helping customer jumpstart Azure projects with zero-cost deployment assistance by leveraging the Cloud Accelerate Factory, also known as the “Factory”.

Customer-Centric Approach:

• End-to-end ownership of Factory engagements to help customers jumpstart their Azure projects with no-cost deployment assistance.
• Provide Factory delivery oversight which includes being hands-on with delivery based on business requirements.
• Deliver proactive technical program management for Factory engagements by overseeing project execution and mitigating delivery risks, ensuring seamless coordination and successful outcomes for customers.

Business Impact:

• Deliver Customer success on the Microsoft Cloud & AI Platforms with a special focus on driving velocity and enabling timely execution of high-value Factory delivery projects for customers based in the ASEAN area.
• Accountable for working with internal Microsoft stakeholders in the ASEAN Specialist Team Unit (STU) and Customer Success Unit (CSU) to deliver customer outcomes through Factory delivery projects.
• Orchestrate effective execution of Partner + Factory delivery to scale reach and impact across all customer segments.
• Drive the acceleration and removal of delivery blockers for Factory projects within ASEAN as the primary territory of responsibility. Additionally, as part of the Global Customer Success team, the role will remain flexible to remotely support other regions and countries when required.

Technical Leadership:

• Strong knowledge of AKS, Kubernetes, containers in general, and Azure PaaS, along with hands-on troubleshooting experience, including container networking, Azure specific security and observability.
• Experience with GHCP, including implementation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with app migration projects and resolving migration-related issues.
• Java and .NET expertise, including
• Knowledge of major language and framework releases
• Experience operating, modernizing, and migrating Java and .NET applications
• Understanding of language characteristics, with the ability to review code and assess application quality and architecture
• Maintain deep technical hands-on delivery expertise on building agents with Microsoft Foundry and good understanding of all the different Foundry models and ability to recommend a model best fit for purpose based on customer use cases and requirements.
• Experience in helping enterprise customers build AI workloads on Microsoft Foundry which is a unified Azure platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offering for enterprise AI operations, model builders and application development.
• Understand how to implement both generative (e.g., retrieval-augmented retrieval (RAG) solutions, Foundry chat applications) and non-generative AI workloads (e.g., document processing, video/image classification, audio processing, predictive analytics) with enterprise-grade security and scalability.
• Hands-on implementation of AI workload/application landing zone which serves as the foundation to deploy AI Apps and Agents-based solutions. Mandatory knowledge on how to implement secure networking within the AI application landing zone to protect sensitive AI models, and proper Azure network configuration to control access to Microsoft Foundry and AI services.
• Acumen to extract architectural and implementation patterns, actionable insights from Factory delivery execution by closing the loop with Technical Success colleagues to improve IP, offerings and process flows.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience

• Displays strong technical program management, stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders, partners, and customers.
