ISV Partner Development Manager

In this role as ISV Partner Development Manager, Europe South, you will lead a talented team of Partner Development Managers across diverse markets in Europe South, including Spain, Italy, Portugal, Türkiye, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, and several Central and Eastern European countries. You will help major software development companies accelerate innovation and drive mutual success by deepening their adoption of Microsoft cloud and artificial intelligence solutions. You will guide your team to manage complex business-to-business relationships, foster a culture of trust and support, and operate confidently in a fast-changing business environment.

This will be your opportunity to apply a balance of commercial and technical capability to help partners build differentiated solutions on Azure and artificial intelligence platforms. You will lead and develop a high-performing regional team, make difficult decisions to drive transformation when needed, and ensure alignment to the Europe South organization’s ambitious goals for Azure and partner-led growth. Your leadership will be fundamental to driving ISV momentum as a critical engine of cloud revenue and long-term customer value.

Responsibilities

• Partner portfolio leadership and optimization - You will establish long-term partner recruitment strategies and expand current partnerships to create a balanced high-performance portfolio, grow business, and anticipate or fill market opportunities.
• Strategic Vision and Value Partnering / Strategic Alignment - You will lead your team in the creation of a strategic vision, creating and executing business plans that ensure alignment between the overall value of Microsoft and the Partner’s business goals. You will coach and challenge your team to land the partner business plans with partner’s senior leadership.
• Partner Sales Leadership - You will act as sales manager and coach the team through pipeline and opportunity management, following Microsoft internal sales methodology. You will build a rhythm of business to ensure sales execution with partners in collaboration with internal teams at Microsoft. You will coach teams through resolving blockers to accelerate sales and act as the escalation point for complex situations.
• Market Insight and Business Opportunity - You will lead and challenge your team to identify top opportunities to pursue with partners incorporating your expertise, market insights, and deep knowledge of the competitive landscape ensuring your teams position Microsoft as the industry leader.
• Executive Relationship Building - You will guide your team to develop deep relationships with complex partners and provide training and coaching to ensure your teams maintain an understanding of partner and Microsoft priorities and goals. You will be the executive sponsor for top partners and spend more than 50% of your time with partners and customers.
• Career Development -You will be focused on the development of your team, leveraging resources to help employees grow skillsets, encourage mentorship, and support their career interests. You will be an expert at workforce development, and succession planning, identifying growth opportunities, building development plans with direct reports, and conducting development discussions

Qualifications

Extensive experience of direct line management of teams based in different regions

A background in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry

Demonstrated success building strategic partnerships and developing partner ecosystems

Strong knowledge of Azure and Microsoft's AI portfolio, including Copilot, with the ability to engage effectively with software companies and senior business stakeholders on Microsoft's differentiated value proposition.

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field OR equivalent experience.

While specific locations are highlighted, we are open to considering candidates from other locations across Europe South based on business needs.

Partner Development Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across Greece is € 127,000.00 - € 270,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
