Solution Engineer - Copilot & Agents for Enterprise Customers

Help shape solutions and make a lasting difference in AI Business Solutions - AI Workforce. In this role, you put advanced artificial intelligence directly in front of leaders at Portugal’s largest institutions and ensure it works in their real environments. You work across a broad portfolio instead of a single product or account, giving you a breadth of scenarios and impact you would not see in many other roles. You are also joining early in the lifecycle of new capabilities, helping customers adopt them while others are still reading about what is possible.

As the Solution Engineer for Copilot and Agents, you are the technical counterpart in a one-to-one partnership with a sales specialist, jointly accountable for landing transformative solutions. You design and validate end-to-end solutions that make Microsoft the default artificial intelligence interface for information workers, helping organizations standardize on trusted platforms and reduce unmanaged technology. You show customers how to turn strategy into working solutions in the rooms where buying decisions and long-term architectures are defined.

Responsibilities

Use deep understanding of customer context, solution portfolio, and industry trends to build credibility with customers and act as a trusted advisor on their security and artificial intelligence needs.Lead technical discussions, architectural design sessions, and proof-of-concept engagements to demonstrate Microsoft solutions, secure technical wins, and ensure successful integration into complex customer environments.Engage in partner sell-with motions by serving as a liaison between partners and internal teams, coordinating partner resources, and supporting partner technical capacity by identifying skill or resource gaps and providing feedback to internal teams.Capture core competitive and market insights from customer and partner engagements and deliver them back to product, engineering, and account teams to shape win strategies, consumption plans, and customer success outcomes.Leverage internal resources, technical communities, and readiness opportunities to continuously grow domain expertise and share knowledge with virtual teams across the organization.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND substantial technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND proven technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Substantial technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
• Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).

Solution Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Portugal is € 43,300.00 - € 74,300.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
