QA/Manual Tester

We are seeking a QA / Manual Tester to join a global Cybersecurity team within Technology and contribute to application quality assurance across a highly diversified and modern DevSecOps environment. This role will ensure that software changes meet the highest testing and security standards, supporting agile delivery within an innovative and fast-paced setting.

You will work closely with Product Owners, developers, and other QA team members to design, execute, and maintain structured manual test plans across web applications, REST APIs, and integrated third-party services - with a focus on driving continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs, define and refine acceptance criteria for testable deliverables.
• Create comprehensive manual test plans based on user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in defining test strategy and ensure application quality through rigorous verification of functional, regression, and performance criteria.
• Maintain test artifacts, document metrics, and manage test environments.
• Provide scenarios for automation pipelines and performance test coverage where applicable.
• Support defect management lifecycle: identify, reproduce, and triage application issues, including interpreting exceptions from logs.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies (retrospectives, backlog refinement, sprint planning) to ensure continuous improvement.
• Partner with engineering teams for integration and release testing in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Benefits

• Sound knowledge of software testing principles in Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience designing test cases for web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Strong background in functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in defining Agile delivery artifacts (epics, stories, tasks).
• Familiar with DevSecOps delivery processes and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with QA and testing tools: JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and test management solutions like QTest, Tricentis, or Zephyr.
• Knowledge of API testing and familiarity with protocols such as REST and HTTP.
• Competent in using Microsoft Excel for test tracking and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Nice to have:

• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and application security testing (SAST, DAST, MAST).
• Experience producing UML/process flow diagrams.
• Practical knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with performance testing frameworks.
• Awareness of Governance, Risk & Compliance processes.
